Privacy and data management

Use of personal data for the purpose of signing up for courses

IntuPeace collects personal data in the course of signing up for courses, seminars and coaching sessions that are necessary and required for the purpose of providing these services. Your address details are processed, for example. We require the address of individuals in order to send invoices. We also require your address to send you a participation confirmation.

We only use your address details and, with your consent, your telephone number and e-mail address for our training and coaching services and to provide you with information thereof. Where it is clear when data are being collected that such data are not essential (your address, say,) the provision of these data is voluntary.

Use of personal data for the purpose of communication

We assure you that we do not sell, rent or lend your data to any other organisations or trade your address. The security of our IT systems is very important to us. For instance, the online trainings will be run, whenever possible, via a server stationed in Germany.

Online services

Collection of general information when you visit our website

When you visit our website, information is collected automatically. That information is:

• the IP address of the computer being used

• the URL and name of the page being visited

• date and time (minute, second) of your visit

• the accumulated data volume

• the status of access (successful, page not found, etc.)

• information about the operating system and browser version of the computer being used

• the website from which you came to our website

• Browser fingerprint

This information is necessary on technical grounds so that we can provide you with the requested website content and is automatically collected when you use the internet. None of this information can be used to identify you but it does provide details of your connection at the time you visited our website. We do not statistically analyse anonymous information of this kind. The data are not analysed for marketing purposes in this connection.

Cookies

As with many other websites, we also use cookies. These are small text files that are transmitted from a server to your hard drive where they are stored. They cannot technically be used to transfer malware. Cookies provide us with data such as: status of your shopping basket, the browser and operating system being used. On the basis of this information we can make it easier for you to navigate our website, and it allows our web pages to display correctly. Under no circumstances are these data shared with third parties or associated with personal data. Naturally, you can also visit our website without cookies. You can instruct your browser to block cookies. Please note that if cookies are deactivated, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website. The legal basis for processing personal data through the use of cookies is Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data when it is transferred we use encryption procedures that correspond with the latest technology (here: SSL over HTTPS). An unencrypted request that is sent to our server is automatically transferred to an encrypted channel.

Newsletter

When you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you provide to us will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may be informed by e-mail about issues relevant to the service or to registration. This may include changes to the newsletter offering, the e-mail for double opt-in, or other technical matters. If you voluntarily share your address details with us when you subscribe to the newsletter, you are giving us your consent that we may also send you correspondence by post. So that the newsletter can be sent to you, we require a valid e-mail address. We only collect other data on a voluntary basis so that, say, we can address you correctly by name in the newsletter. These data are not shared with third parties and are used exclusively to send you our newsletter. You can at any time and in any newsletter withdraw your consent to the storage of your data and their use for sending you our newsletter. Each newsletter contains a corresponding link. You can also withdraw your consent at any time by telephone or by getting in touch with us using the contact option shown at the end of this Privacy Policy.

Contact form

If you contact us using the contact form, by e-mail or by telephone, the data you share with us will be used to process your request or for possible follow-on requests.

Embedded YouTube videos

YouTube videos are embedded in some of our web pages. The operator of the corresponding plugin is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a page containing the YouTube plugin, a connection is created to the YouTube servers. YouTube is informed about which pages you are currently viewing. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your surfing with your account. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting our website or by surfing anonymously. When you click on a YouTube video, the provider places cookies that deliver information about user behaviour. To prevent this, you can block cookies in your browser. Erasure and/or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data reduction and data economy. We only store your personal data for as long as required by the diverse statutory retention periods or to achieve the purposes set out here. Once the respective purpose has been achieved and/or the retention periods have elapsed, the data are automatically blocked or erased in compliance with the statutory provisions.

We advise you that you have the right at any time to obtain information on the personal data we have stored about you. You also have the right to block that data where this does not conflict with the required storage of data for business transactions, and the right to have your personal data erased. So that data can be blocked at any time, these data must be stored in a lock file for control purposes. You can also request the erasure of the data provided that no statutory archiving obligation exists. Where such an obligation exists, we will block your data on request.

You can request rectifications or withdraw your consent with future effect by notifying us accordingly.
